ABOUT THE COLLIFLOWERS
Byron Bay/Northern Rivers indie-rock outfit The Colliflowers continues to captivate audiences nationwide with their electrifying live shows, sun-soaked guitar riffs, driving rhythms, and irresistibly catchy melodies. The 4-piece band—comprising Gary Collocott (vocals, rhythm guitar), Rachael Goddard (drums), Nelson Ludeke (lead guitar), and Alex Pereira (bass)—delivers a dynamic fusion of indie rock and pop that has cemented their reputation as one of Australia’s most exciting rising acts.
ā
Renowned for their high-energy performances, The Colliflowers spent the past year tearing up stages across the country—selling out headline shows in Sydney and Melbourne, touring with The Rubens, DICE and The Vanns, and lighting up festivals including Spaced Out (QLD), Tone City Records Festival (WA), and Byron Music Festival (NSW).
ā
The band are now gearing up to release their highly anticipated debut EP in early spring, kicking things off with the first track, ‘Waterhead’, out July 18. Inspired by a man they met at a bar while on tour, 'Waterhead' sets the tone for the 6-track EP, featuring driving basslines, punchy drums, soaring vocals, and infectious guitar riffs. Fans of The Kooks, Dice, Ocean Alley, The Rions and Sam Fender are sure to connect with this one!
With ‘Waterhead’ paving the way for their debut EP and preparations underway for their first national headline tour, 2025 is already shaping up to be a landmark year for The Colliflowers.
